We feel that
communicating our vision for this classical and Christian education
model is an essential part of our hiring process. We therefore
ask interested educators to read our blue information packet and
Douglas Wilson's book Recovering the Lost tools of Learning, including
Dorothy Sayer's essay, "The Lost Tools of Learning," which Wilson
references as Appendix A in his book. The information packets
are available at the school, and the book is available at either the
school or First Presbyterian Church at a cost of $11. We
recommend waiting to complete the application until after reading
both the packet and the book.
After your application
has been received and reviewed, the personnel committee will contact
you if they would like to schedule an interview. Before an
applicant is hired, he or she must be interviewed first by the
personnel committee and also by the entire school board.
