Grandparents
-----------------------------

What good is knowledge if it is not shared?  Didn't Jesus leave us the Great Commission to go into the world and share the gospel?  When we ask the question, “why is a Biblical Christian world and life view important?” our resounding answer is so that others may know and that we may be obedient to Christ when He said, “go ye

into all the world…” Mark 16:15.

We had a wonderful Grandparents Day this past November.  Thanks to all who participated.  Here's a schedule of the events we

enjoyed that day - Schedule for the Day.

The classical, Christian model of education holds that no subject can be taught from a neutral perspective.  At Providence every subject taught is integrated with scripture.  If all knowledge comes from God, then all subjects must include God as part of the educational process. The ultimate goal of classical, Christ-centered education at Providence Christian School is to train thinking, active Christians.  Why?   So that, in whatever they choose to do, they will have the skills and knowledge to do it well, while glorifying God.

Taking their Christian worldview into the world happens in a number of ways.  Of course, Providence students will have many opportunities once they graduate, but as part of their education we strive to offer them many opportunities to be active, thinking individuals while they are still students at PCS.

On Grandparents day a short program, “Go ye into all the world,” was be presented demonstrating how our students  use their Biblical, Christian world and life view outside the boundaries of our campus, and the way our students interact  as servant leaders, taking compassion, service, and Biblical, Christian knowledge to others.  Every grade at PCS is involved in serving some other country, group, or organization as part of the educational process.
