The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. - Psalm 111:10
As students approach adolescence, they begin to ask deeper questions, become argumentative, and desire to find answers for themselves. In the logic phase of the trivium, educators use formal logic to teach students to reason and think logically through arguments. Class discussions, debates, and written oral arguments are incorporated to help students learn to express their ideas and thoughts with respect using biblical truths as their foundation.
